About LCASC
Who We Are
The Liberian Community Association of South Carolina (LCASC) was founded on February 26, 2023, by like-minded people who saw the need to organize a community association in the State of South Carolina. The community association consists of those with a heritage to the West African nation of Liberia, their families and friends who may not have originated from Liberia but reside in the State of South Carolina, United States of America, and are open to the community associations values and culture.

What We Do
Our primary aim is to support the well-being of its members, citizens of the State of South Carolina, and the needy people of Liberia. Its vision is “to give hope and build up those around us,” and its mission is “to make a positive impact in the lives of people in need.” Guarded by its vision and mission, LCASC has been organized and established as a social, non-governmental, and not-for-profit humanitarian organization. LCASC aims to help prevent and/or alleviate people’s suffering. As a result, most of the Association’s activities will be centered around searching for the funds and items that it can use to achieve its objective.
Our Goals
- Bring South Carolinians and people of Liberian descent together to address common issues and build relationships with other community associations.
- Promote social well-being and raise the standard of living for less fortunate communities.
- Create social, economic, and business awareness.
- Restore neighborhoods in South Carolina and Liberia by partnering with other community-based associations
